I made this card for my Niece’s 12th Birthday. I really loved making it and had a lot of fun in the process. I wanted to make her something fun and cute and this was the end result! I think it turned out perfect for the occasion. She really loved it and thought it was cool. Below is a list of products I used and pictures. If you would like to see my youtube video of this card, please click here.

Card Front:
Ice cream cone – Everyday paper dolls cricut cartridge. Cut at 6.5 inches.
Cherry – hand cut circle, embossed with UTEE around 4 times
Pink patterned paper – light pink with pink polka-a-dots
Ice Cream – embossed with 5 or so layers of UTEE. While the last layer of utte was hot, I sprinkled small glass beads on it. Then I pressed them into the utte using a scrap piece of paper. This turned out really cute and looked just like sprinkles.
Cone – embossed with Fiskars embossing plate. Inked with Distess Ink in Tea Dye and Vintage Photo.
Bee stamp – Inkadinkado
Heart punch – Martha Stewart
100% sweet stamp – Studio g

Inside Card:
Card base – Bazzill Kraft cardstock
Happy Birthday stamp – Studio g
Sweetie stamp – Target Dollar Bin, Valentines collection
Sweetie is colored with a pink glitter gel pen
Edges inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink
White faux stitching

To attach the card front to the card base, I used an eyelet at the top. Then I covered the eyelet with the cherry. I attached the cherry with a glue dot and a 1/16 pop dot.

Looks good enough to eat!

Tiny glass marbles pressed into UTTE and Inkadinkado bee stamp.

Embossed with Fiskars embossing plate and distressed with Tea Dye & Vintage Photo distress inks.

Inside sentiment. The card front and base are attched with an eyelet.

I made this card back in January for my boyfriend’s sister. She turned 17 and I wanted to make her a special card. I think this card was perfect for her as it’s both youthful and sweet. The stamped image is from the Be Yourself stamp set, from Close To My Heart. I stamped her using Colorbox chalk ink in Black Bird. The jewel in her hair is from Heidi Swapp. I really love the Be Yourself stamp set. It can work for so many different occasions. I embossed the pink cardstock with my swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder. I inked the edges of the white cardstock with pink pigment ink and tied pink ribbon around it. Then I used pop-dots to adhere it to the pink cardstock. The inside sentiment is from Anna Griffin. This is an simple, pretty and quick card to make. This sweet birthday card was made especially for my Sister-In-Law.  She is the sweetest and most amazing woman. This card was inspired by a card made by starofmay (Youtube user name). It uses Basic Grey’s Nook & Pantry Cakes stamp set and patterned paper from DCWV Sweet Stack.

The cupcake is stamped with pigment ink and embossed with iridescent ice. The cupcake holder is stamped with green pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The strawberry was stamped then embossed twice with clear embossing powder. Then I cut a small slit in the cupcake frosting so I could tuck part of the strawberry into it. I used a pop-dot to secure the strawberry to the card. Sheer pink ribbon and the Fiskars threading water border punch was also used. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Sweet Stack. The “Celebrate” sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado. I inked the edges of the card base and the cardstock that the cupcake is stamped on with pink pigment ink.

Sweet Birthday Wishes!

Cupcake! Mmmm.

This clean and classy card was made using the Be Yourself stamp set from Close To My Heart.

I simply stamped the silhouette on the card base using color box chalk ink in black bird. Then I stamped her another time on some scratch paper, so I could get the outline of her dress. I cut out each piece of the dress, traced them onto patterned paper and cut out each piece. I then pieced them on top of the silhouette that I stamped on the card front. Lastly I stamped the sentiment and tied sheer hot pink ribbon around the card.

Happy Birthday Julie & to all you December babies! 🙂
