Archive for the ‘Give A Hoot’ CategoryHello Crafty Friends! I hope you are all having a great week. My week is going good and I’m looking forward to the weekend! St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and if you haven’t made a card, now is the perfect time. Crafty Cardz Challenge has a fun themed challenge just for you. Challenge#127: “ERIN GO BRAUGH” My 4×4 St. Paddy Day card is below. I used the leprechaun hat from Paper Doll Dress Up and the clover from Give A Hoot. I stamped the background with a Studio g stamp, embossed the hat, glittered the black trim, inked/chalked around each element and even though it doesn’t show the hat was dusted in green Pearl X powder and the clover is painted with green pearlized paint. Thank you so much for stopping by! I can’t wait to see what you create for this challenge. Happy St. Patrick’s Day and be sure to enter this fun challenge at CardzTv! Hi Crafty Friends! Are you ready for the next Cricut Cardz Challenge? I hope so, because it starts now! Challenge #120: “Attitude of Gratitude!” is the theme this week. Make a card for Thanksgiving using any cartridge(s) and colors you’d like. For my card, I made a shape card using the sweet little squirrel from the Give A Hoot cartridge. I think she tuned out darling. To embellishment the card, I sponged the darker brown pieces with brown inks, embossed them with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and popped them up on pop-dots. Lastly I gave her a twine bow and an acorn with a handwritten sentiment on it. I love making shape cards with my Gypsy and Cricut. If you have never made one, be sure to give it a try. They are so fun and always a hit! Thank you so much for stopping by today! Please join us at Cardz Tv for this fun Thanksgiving challenge!
Good Morning Crafty Friends! Are you ready for Cricut Cardz Challenge #108? The theme is “May Day”, make a card for any occasion using flowers from any cartridge(s) and using any colors you’d like. For my 4 x 5.5 inch card I used the Give A Hoot cartridge. After cutting the tulips out three times, I used Copic markers to color the tulips and the rhinestones. I used my Nestabilities to cut a circle from the center then popped each of the tulips up on pop dots. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, Everyday Greetings. ![]() I love to color clear rhinestones with Copics, Bic Mark It's or Sharpies. It's an easy way to get the perfect coordinating color. Before I go, I wanted to give you an update on Bunny. After being very ill for two weeks she is is finally feeling better. She just finished two of her three medications and has been getting stronger each day. She’s still a bit slow but it’s so nice to see her getting back to her old self. Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. I’ll leave you with a cute picture of Bunny napping with her new toy from her Grandma (my Mom).
