Challenge#127: “ERIN GO BRAUGH”
Make a card for St. Patrick’s Day using GREEN, BLACK and WHITE ONLY!

My 4×4 St. Paddy Day card is below. I used the leprechaun hat from Paper Doll Dress Up and the clover from Give A Hoot. I stamped the background with a Studio g stamp, embossed the hat, glittered the black trim, inked/chalked around each element and even though it doesn’t show the hat was dusted in green Pearl X powder and the clover is painted with green pearlized paint.

This is one time I wish I had an Action Wobble. Oh well, pop dots did the job!

I think the argyle embossing really adds a nice touch to the hat.

Crafty Cardz Challenge #125 “Critter Cuties”
Make a Valentine card with a critter

You can check out my card below. I decided to make a shape card using my Gypsy and the Create a Critter cartridge. The stamped sentiment is from the Pink By Design, Be Mine set.

I used rhinestones, pink chalk & polka dot embossing to embellish my adorable card. This card is just under 4 inches tall.

You could say no to that sweet face?

I kept it sweet and simple.

Challenge#122: “Tis the season!” Make a Christmas or Hanukkah card using the card feature from any cartridge, and using any colors you’d like.

Faux stitching, polka dot vellum, gold perfect pearls and a festive sentiment dress this card up perfectly.

For my card I used the Winter Woodland cartridge. I added some little touches to dress up this otherwise simple card.

Challenge #120: “Attitude of Gratitude!” is the theme this week. Make a card for Thanksgiving using any cartridge(s) and colors you’d like.

For my card, I made a shape card using the sweet little squirrel from the Give A Hoot cartridge. I think she tuned out darling.

She is just the sweetest!

To embellishment the card, I sponged the darker brown pieces with brown inks, embossed them with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and popped them up on pop-dots. Lastly I gave her a twine bow and an acorn with a handwritten sentiment on it.

I love making shape cards with my Gypsy and Cricut. If you have never made one, be sure to give it a try. They are so fun and always a hit!

I can’t believe October is flying by so quickly. Halloween will be here in one week! I’m excited since it’s my favorite holiday and I love to hand out candy to the cute kids. But October is not just a time for tricks and treats it’s also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To help promote this worthy cause, why not make a card for a friend or a loved one, as a reminder card for self-exams and mammograms, a card congratulating a breast cancer survivor, or a card of encouragement for someone currently going through the trauma of breast cancer. Also don’t forget to do your own self-exam and get your mammograms!

Challenge#119: “Let’s Hear it for the Girl’s” Make a card for Breast Cancer Awareness, using any cartridge(s) and using any colors you’d like.

Think Pink!

I used Birthday Bash to cut out the letters and embellished them with white faux stitching.

To stamp the background I used an Inkadinkado stamp set called Friendship. I added my own pink ribbon and a tiny ribbon rose that came from my stash. Thank you for coming by and leaving me such sweet comments! I hope you all like this card and join us at CardzTv for this challenge.

For my design team card I decided to make a New Baby card. One of my best friends had a baby girl recently so I made a couple different baby cards. I think this card is really sweet and of course the Peachy Keen face is adorable. I used the Simply Charmed cartridge and patterned papers from Basic Grey and DCWV.

I added dry embossing, gems, pearls, ribbon & faux stitching for sweet embellishments.

It’s been a while since I made an S-Fold card so it was fun to do that fold again. To cut the pumpkin’s I used the Smiley Cards cartridge. The patterned papers are from DCWV. Everything is inked, chalked and popped up on pop dots. Halloween cards are so fun to make and I look forward to posting more in the coming weeks.

For my card I used the Wild Card cartridge. I think I’ll add a couple more embellishments because he doesn’t feel quite finished. If I do, I’ll be sure to post an updated photo. I just love making Halloween cards and hope you like mine!

Just a cute little monster going Trick or Treating as a human.

I used my Cuttlebug embossing folder in Bubbles to add texture to the lil' monster.

I made this kids birthday card using the Create A Critter cartridge. I cut the dog, party hat and the balloon out using CAC. For extra fun I added fringe, glitter and a rhinestone to the party hat. I stamped on the balloon using a dollar stamp and then tied it with thread to the dogs tail. Then I popped all three up on foam adhesive. To add interest to the plain card base I used a strip of patterned paper and stamped the birthday sentiment. Last but not least, I added Crystal Effects to give him a little wet nose!
