Hi Crafty Friends! Today is the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #100!!! How awesome is that! The theme this week is “It’s June in January!”. Make a card for any occasion, using any cartridge(s) and using any colors you’d like, with Summer as your theme.

Today is my Birthday and it’s pouring down rain, so I’d love for it to be summer right now! For this challenge I made a Thank You card using the Just Because Cards Cricut cartridge.

This card definitely makes me think of a warm Summer day!

I used glossy accents on the seeds & popped up the watermelon on pop dots.

Thanks so much for checking out my card!  In celebration of my Birthday, I’m giving away this cute little Valentine’s stamp and a few other things! Just leave a comment and a way to contact you if you win. I’ll draw a name January 28! Thanks so much for all your comments and friendships! 🙂

Leave a comment to win me!

Today I would like to share with you my St. Patrick’s Day cards and tag.

The first three cards feature the same layout but different patterned paper and embossing. These cards are all simple to make and perfect if you’re short on time. The fourth card is made using scraps from the first two cards and stamps from Studio g. The tag is made with a scrap from the first card, deco scissors and stamps from Studio g.

This little Christmas Tree card is quick and simple.

-I used Bazzill Kraft cardstock for my base. I inked the edges with Distress Ink in Tea Dye. Then I used my white Gelly Roll pen to add faux stitching around the card.

-The Christmas Tree was cut using the Paper doll dress up cartridge. I inked the edges in dark and light green pigment ink. After that I popped up the flaps in the tree and threaded one of the buttons with white embroidery floss. Then I used glue dots to adhere the buttons to the tree.

-To make the star I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I cut out the fairy’s wand on page 56 (it has a star at the top). Then I used VersaMark and gold embossing powder on the star. Lastly I snipped off the wand and glued the star to my tree top.

Hope you liked this simple but cute as a button Christmas tree card!

The little buttons really make the tree pop!

Buttons are a great way to dress up your card!

Looking up
