Hi Crafty Friends! Today I am sharing with you a special tag I made for my boyfriend’s sister. On January 20th she turned 18 and I wanted to add a special handmade item to her gift. She want’s to go to Paris someday so I knew I wanted to use my Eiffel Tower stamp. When I checked Angelica and Erin‘s Music Mondays challenge it instantly gave me the inspiration I needed to make her tag. The inspiring song this week is, Golden by Jill Scott. Check out their challenge, it’s a lot of fun to play along!

Elizabeth is a such as blessing to know and she is such a sweetheart. I’m hoping this year is a golden one for her. It will definitely be a big year, as she will graduate high school and then be a freshman at the University of Oregon in the Fall. I’m wishing her the absolute best! Live life like it’s Golden!!!

The Eiffel Tower and golden butterflies look beautiful together. Entire tag is distressed with Tea Dye and Vintage Photo.

The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. To distress the edges of the tag I used my Tim Hotlz distressing tool. I also added a magnet to the back of the tag.

Eiffel Tower stamp from Inkadinkado. Pearls are from Recollections and colored with Copic E33 for an antiqued look.

I dusted the entire tag with Perfect Pearls in Perfect Gold. Then I painted the edges with Perfect Gold and a bit of water. The script stamp is from Tim Holtz.

I almost forgot to mention, she as well as her guests really loved the tag and thought it was very beautiful. Thank you so much for checking out my tag! To see a complete recipe check out my YouTube channel.

Thanks Angelica and Erin for a fun challenge, I’m looking forward to the next one!

Hi! I hope everyone’s Thursday has been good. This afternoon I worked on a card that followed a sketch over at Everything but the Kitchen Sink challenge blog. This card is also entered into EtsyInspired Challenge #88, & Simple Doodles. Please check out each of these challenge blogs, they are so fun to participate in!

The EtsyInspired store featured was Creation Designs. There was a lot of fun items to chose from. This little flower caught my eye and inspired my color combo for this card.
