Hi Crafty Friends! How are you doing? I hope your summer has been a fun one! Today I’m sharing with you my Design Team card for Cricut Cardz Challenge #112. The challenge is to make a card with a tag or tags, using any cartridge(s) and using any colors you’d like.

My card below was made using one of those little dollar stamps that so many of us love and love to collect. The cute crab is from Imaginisce’s Splash Dance collection. I colored him with Copic Markers and added Crystal Effects to make him shine! The tag is cut from the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge.

The cute sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set called Crab & Company.

Crystal Effects adds a perfect shiny gloss.

Thank you so much for coming by today. I know I’ve been absent for a few weeks. I’ll be posting a personal update soon to explain where I’ve been. I hope you enjoyed my card and will join us at CardzTv for this fun challenge!

Good Morning Crafty Friends! Are you ready for Cricut Cardz Challenge #108? The theme is “May Day”, make a card for any occasion using flowers from any cartridge(s) and using any colors you’d like.

For my 4 x 5.5 inch card I used the Give A Hoot cartridge. After cutting the tulips out three times, I used Copic markers to color the tulips and the rhinestones. I used my Nestabilities to cut a circle from the center then popped each of the tulips up on pop dots. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, Everyday Greetings.

Happy May Day!

I love to color clear rhinestones with Copics, Bic Mark It's or Sharpies. It's an easy way to get the perfect coordinating color.

Before I go, I wanted to give you an update on Bunny. After being very ill for two weeks she is is finally feeling better. She just finished two of her three medications and has been getting stronger each day. She’s still a bit slow but it’s so nice to see her getting back to her old self. Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate. :)

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. I’ll leave you with a cute picture of Bunny napping with her new toy from her Grandma (my Mom).

Bunny Boo & Lambchop.

Hi Crafty Friends! Today I’m excited to share with you two Birthday cards that I made for my niece’s 14th Birthday.

I made the first card for my parents to give to her. I used the Betsy Bluebell stamp set from Penny Black and colored the image with Copic markers. I know the image may seem a bit young for her but it was just so cute. Plus I had just bought the stamp set so I had to use it!

The second card features an awesome stamp set from Stampin Up called Pick a Petal. So many fun things can be done with this set. If you would like more details about the cards just play the videos at the bottom of this post. Now onto the cards!

The patterned paper is from DCWV Sweet Stack & the image is popped up on pop dots.

Here's a close up of my Copic coloring.

The second layer of petals are popped up on pop dots for added dimension & fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my cards today! I’ll be back soon to share the cards I made at Craft Night with some awesome ladies!

Hi Crafty Friends! How are you? I hope everyone is having a good week! Today is the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #102. The theme this week is “A Stitch in Time”,  make a card for any occasion using real or faux stitching and use any cartridges or colors you’d like.

I hope you join us this week and let me know what you think of my card! I used a Greeting Farm digi and frames from the Just Because Cards cartridge.

I really love the soft colors and layered frame.

I think she is so sweet. I used Copic markers to color her and I added pink rhinestones to her hair.

Thank you for coming by and checking out my card! I look forward to seeing your cards for this challenge!

Good Morning Crafty Friends! I hope everyone is having an excellent week. Today marks the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #78. This weeks challenge is to make a Wedding Card. You can use any cartridges and colors that you’d like.

This is the first wedding card that I’ve made using my new Sweethearts cartridge. I really love the Bride and Groom and knew I had to use them! I thought the Gate Fold would be perfect for this card. Check out the pictures below and let me know what you think!

I love how the Bride and Groom are facing each other. The Gate Fold allows the card to open in the center to reveal the sentiment & handwritten note.

I think this is a really adorable Cricut cut. I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder to add some interest to her dress.

The sentiment and rings are from BasicGrey

Card Recipe:

  • Cartridge – Sweethearts
  • Heart Patterned Paper – Costco
  • Stamps – BasicGrey
  • Copic Markers
  • Flower Jewels – Heidi Swapp
  • CuttleBug Embossing Folder – Swiss Dots
  • Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearl – Applied to dress
  • Vellum – Veil (handcut)

I hope you liked this card and find it inspiring! Be sure to head on over to CCC and enter your card! You never know you just might be randomly picked to win the monthly prize!
