Good Morning Crafty Friends! I hope everyone is having an excellent week. Today marks the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #78. This weeks challenge is to make a Wedding Card. You can use any cartridges and colors that you’d like.

This is the first wedding card that I’ve made using my new Sweethearts cartridge. I really love the Bride and Groom and knew I had to use them! I thought the Gate Fold would be perfect for this card. Check out the pictures below and let me know what you think!

I love how the Bride and Groom are facing each other. The Gate Fold allows the card to open in the center to reveal the sentiment & handwritten note.

I think this is a really adorable Cricut cut. I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder to add some interest to her dress.

The sentiment and rings are from BasicGrey

Card Recipe:

  • Cartridge – Sweethearts
  • Heart Patterned Paper – Costco
  • Stamps – BasicGrey
  • Copic Markers
  • Flower Jewels – Heidi Swapp
  • CuttleBug Embossing Folder – Swiss Dots
  • Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearl – Applied to dress
  • Vellum – Veil (handcut)

I hope you liked this card and find it inspiring! Be sure to head on over to CCC and enter your card! You never know you just might be randomly picked to win the monthly prize!

Hello again! I made another card that fits three challenges! Each challenge asked us to create a card or project for Father’s Day. I made this little 4×4 card using Inkadinkado stamps, Copic Markers, Perfect Pearls and my Cuttlebug Bubbles embossing folder.

I entered this card into Paper Cutz Challenge #45, Simple Doodles Challenge #19 and Drunken Stampers Challenge #20.

Thanks for checking out my card. And an even bigger thanks for all the nice comments!

Seahorse Daddy and Son

I used Perfect Pearls to highlight the Seahorse's fins.

Perfect Pearls also make the shells shimmer.

Today’s card was entered into Paper Cutz Challenge#42 (Use buttons & ribbon, lace or hemp) & Drunken Stampers #17  (Distressed chipboard).

I really love how it turned out. I think this card would be great for the man in your life! The background is stamped with a wood grain stamp and embossed with clear embossing powder. The heart is a chipboard piece colored with a red Copic marker. It had a design that I didn’t like but after two coats of Copic marker it was gone! Then I wrapped hemp cord around it and secured it with a  button. After that I adhered the heart with 1/16 inch pop-dots. One the inside of the card I added a thinner button to accent the future message.

Thanks for taking a look at my card! Have a wonderful weekend!

Love U

I love the textures on the button mixed with the wood grain and hemp cord textures.

The inside of the card has a space for a message with a button accent.

Here are couple cute cards that I made for my friends. I used an Anya stamp from the Greeting Farm. She is colored with copic markers. I also used patterned paper from Creative memories and K & Company. I handmade each of the lollipop flowers with patterned paper, cardstock, tulle, cellophane, ink and perfect pearls mist. The friend sentiment is from Brenda Walton.

The red themed card was made for my wonderful friend Susan. She is such a sweetheart and I have loved getting to know her. She has been so supportive and sweet to me. She is a real gem and I am so happy to call her my friend. 🙂  You can find her blog at One of a Kind Cards and Crafts or find her on YouTube at SuzieCrafter10. Be sure to check her out, she has the most beautiful vintage tags and handmade flowers!
