Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends! Today is the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #103! This weeks theme is, “You Take the Cake!”. So head to your craft room and make a Birthday card with a cake or cupcake using any cartridges or colors you’d like.

My card this week is sweet and simple. I used the cupcake from the Simply Charmed cartridge. I embellished the card with a polka dot button, acetate satin ribbon and a Happy Birthday sentiment from The Greeting Farm. I hope you like it.

Sweet and simple!

I think this embellishment is a fun way to incorporate your sentiment and add a pop of color.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you play along with us at CCC. There will be a random winner chosen for a set of awesome CardzTv stamps! Have a great week everyone! 🙂

Good morning Crafty Friends! Today’s project was made for Cricut Cardz Challenge #70. This weeks challenge is to make a cupcake wrapper/holder using any cartridges and colors you’d like. I hope you like my Springtime inspired cupcake holder.

I can imagine a sweet, decadent cupcake resting perfectly in here. Although at my house, it wouldn't be resting long!

I embellished the yellow holder with butterflies, pearls and a delicate border, this basket is both girly and cheerful.

Cupcake Holder Recipe:

  • Cartridge, Tags, Bags, Boxes & More
  • Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Punch
  • Fiskars Threading Water Punch
  • Studio g, Butterfly Stamp
  • Joann Crafts, Pearls
  • We Are Memory Keepers, Flower Brads
  • Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors, Paper Strips
  • Recollections, Cardstock

Thank you so much for visiting me today! I hope you join us at CCC for this great challenge and a chance to be this weeks winner for the monthly prize. Have a wonderful afternoon.

Hi Crafty Friends! Today I’m sharing with you a card and gift box I made for my Niece RyLee. A couple weeks ago she turned 13 and I wanted to make her some special items.

The first items were requested by my parents. They asked me to make a card and a gift box for the gifts they were giving her. The cupcake card is cut from my Wild Card cartridge. I dressed it up with some embossing, glitter and pretty patterned paper. You can watch a video describing the card and gift box in more detail by clicking here.

I love how pink and girly this card is.

I added a pocket to the inside so her grandparents could add some cash!

I also cut the matching envelope. It's awesome!

Alphabet stamps are from Heidi Swapp. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from The Greeting Farm.

I also cut the Flower Box from Bags, Tags, Boxes and More. I decorated the outside with stamps, ribbon, markers and EKSuccess and Stampin Up Punches.

This box was cut at the largest size and was perfect for a pair of earrings.

For one of my gifts to her I altered a Composition notebook. She loves dance and is a very beautiful and talented dancer. So I knew right away that a Ballerina on the front would be perfect. This is the first altered notebook I have made and look forward to making more! I’ll have a video on my YouTube channel of what products I used very soon.

Beautiful, feminine and vintage. Exactly what I was aiming for.

Paper collections: K & Company, Cut 'n Paste and Life's Journey.

I hope you enjoyed this pink filled post! I had a lot of fun creating these items but it was even more fun to see her smile when she received them! Thanks for stopping by today! Also to those that are following and subscribing to my blog, thank you so much! Have a wonderful week everyone!

Hello Crafty Friends! How are you today? I’m doing good. It’s a chilly 48 degrees out but the sun is shining so that makes me happy! I have a couple crafty projects I’m going to fit into my schedule today. Are you working on any projects?

Today I’m sharing a card I made for two challenges. The first is Mary’s challenge at Cardz Tv. The challenge is to make project with a cupcake on it. The second is Robyn’s challenge at My Pink Stamper. The challenge is to make a project with a birthday theme. For a closer look please click on the pictures.

I love that cupcake!

I used my swirls cuttlebug embossing folder and glitter to make the cupcake extra cute and yummy!

Happy Birthday is from The Greeting Farm - Happy Chef, Cupcake is from Basic Grey - Cakes.

I used the cupcake from the Create A Critter cartridge, patterned paper, Fiskars threading water punch, swirls embossing folder, glitter, ribbon and a stamped sentiment. I kept the card clean, simple and cute!

Thank you so much for coming by and leaving a comment. I appreciate it so much! Have a wonderful Thursday! 🙂

This sweet birthday card was made especially for my Sister-In-Law.  She is the sweetest and most amazing woman. This card was inspired by a card made by starofmay (Youtube user name). It uses Basic Grey’s Nook & Pantry Cakes stamp set and patterned paper from DCWV Sweet Stack.

The cupcake is stamped with pigment ink and embossed with iridescent ice. The cupcake holder is stamped with green pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The strawberry was stamped then embossed twice with clear embossing powder. Then I cut a small slit in the cupcake frosting so I could tuck part of the strawberry into it. I used a pop-dot to secure the strawberry to the card. Sheer pink ribbon and the Fiskars threading water border punch was also used. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Sweet Stack. The “Celebrate” sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado. I inked the edges of the card base and the cardstock that the cupcake is stamped on with pink pigment ink.

Sweet Birthday Wishes!

Cupcake! Mmmm.

Close up of cupcake & strawberry.
