Happy New Year Crafty Friends! Here we are as January is about to pass us by. I hope everyone had a good month. I had a great month! January 18th was my birthday and Kris & I celebrated with a nice dinner out. I also received some lovely gifts. One of the gifts from my boyfriend was Project Life page protectors. I’m really excited to be doing this project and will be sure to share some pages with you all.

Happy December Crafty Friends! Can you believe that Christmas is just around the corner?! Which means, I’m already behind on making my Christmas cards. But Cricut Cardz Challenge has me making my first one!

Challenge#122: “Tis the season!” Make a Christmas or Hanukkah card using the card feature from any cartridge, and using any colors you’d like.

Faux stitching, polka dot vellum, gold perfect pearls and a festive sentiment dress this card up perfectly.

For my card I used the Winter Woodland cartridge. I added some little touches to dress up this otherwise simple card.

Thanks so much for your comments and coming by my blog. Please stop by Cardz Tv and join us for our last Challenge of 2012! Happy Holidays!

Good Morning Crafty Friends! I can’t believe October is flying by so quickly. Halloween will be here in one week! I’m excited since it’s my favorite holiday and I love to hand out candy to the cute kids. But October is not just a time for tricks and treats it’s also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To help promote this worthy cause, why not make a card for a friend or a loved one, as a reminder card for self-exams and mammograms, a card congratulating a breast cancer survivor, or a card of encouragement for someone currently going through the trauma of breast cancer. Also don’t forget to do your own self-exam and get your mammograms!

Challenge#119: “Let’s Hear it for the Girl’s” Make a card for Breast Cancer Awareness, using any cartridge(s) and using any colors you’d like.

Think Pink!

I used Birthday Bash to cut out the letters and embellished them with white faux stitching.

To stamp the background I used an Inkadinkado stamp set called Friendship. I added my own pink ribbon and a tiny ribbon rose that came from my stash. Thank you for coming by and leaving me such sweet comments! I hope you all like this card and join us at CardzTv for this challenge.

Hi Crafty Friends! How are you? I hope everyone is having a good week! Today is the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #102. The theme this week is “A Stitch in Time”,  make a card for any occasion using real or faux stitching and use any cartridges or colors you’d like.

I hope you join us this week and let me know what you think of my card! I used a Greeting Farm digi and frames from the Just Because Cards cartridge.

I really love the soft colors and layered frame.

I think she is so sweet. I used Copic markers to color her and I added pink rhinestones to her hair.

Thank you for coming by and checking out my card! I look forward to seeing your cards for this challenge!

This card definitely makes me think of a warm Summer day!

I used glossy accents on the seeds & popped up the watermelon on pop dots.

Hi Crafty Friends! Today I’d like to share with you a Birthday card. My brother asked me to make a Birthday card for his friends son. He told me that Paxton loves airplanes. So I went searching through my cartridges and found this little airplane image on Everyday Paper Dolls.

I’m also entering this card into Lawnscaping Challenge #18. The challenge is “Getting Texty”. I just love my Lawn Fawn stamps! Harold’s Abc’s are so easy to use and always looks so awesome! Be sure to head on over to Lawnscaping and check out the newest challenge!

White stitching really jazzes up the airplane.

I just love how the airplane is pulling the birthday banner.

Lawn Fawn alpha stamps are just the best!

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me such sweet comments!

I made this card for my Niece’s 12th Birthday. I really loved making it and had a lot of fun in the process. I wanted to make her something fun and cute and this was the end result! I think it turned out perfect for the occasion. She really loved it and thought it was cool. Below is a list of products I used and pictures. If you would like to see my youtube video of this card, please click here.

Card Front:
Ice cream cone – Everyday paper dolls cricut cartridge. Cut at 6.5 inches.
Cherry – hand cut circle, embossed with UTEE around 4 times
Pink patterned paper – light pink with pink polka-a-dots
Ice Cream – embossed with 5 or so layers of UTEE. While the last layer of utte was hot, I sprinkled small glass beads on it. Then I pressed them into the utte using a scrap piece of paper. This turned out really cute and looked just like sprinkles.
Cone – embossed with Fiskars embossing plate. Inked with Distess Ink in Tea Dye and Vintage Photo.
Bee stamp – Inkadinkado
Heart punch – Martha Stewart
100% sweet stamp – Studio g

Inside Card:
Card base – Bazzill Kraft cardstock
Happy Birthday stamp – Studio g
Sweetie stamp – Target Dollar Bin, Valentines collection
Sweetie is colored with a pink glitter gel pen
Edges inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink
White faux stitching

To attach the card front to the card base, I used an eyelet at the top. Then I covered the eyelet with the cherry. I attached the cherry with a glue dot and a 1/16 pop dot.

Looks good enough to eat!

Tiny glass marbles pressed into UTTE and Inkadinkado bee stamp.

Embossed with Fiskars embossing plate and distressed with Tea Dye & Vintage Photo distress inks.

Inside sentiment. The card front and base are attched with an eyelet.
