Good Morning Crafty Friends! I hope everyone is having an excellent week. Today marks the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #78. This weeks challenge is to make a Wedding Card. You can use any cartridges and colors that you’d like.

This is the first wedding card that I’ve made using my new Sweethearts cartridge. I really love the Bride and Groom and knew I had to use them! I thought the Gate Fold would be perfect for this card. Check out the pictures below and let me know what you think!

I love how the Bride and Groom are facing each other. The Gate Fold allows the card to open in the center to reveal the sentiment & handwritten note.

I think this is a really adorable Cricut cut. I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder to add some interest to her dress.

The sentiment and rings are from BasicGrey

Card Recipe:

  • Cartridge – Sweethearts
  • Heart Patterned Paper – Costco
  • Stamps – BasicGrey
  • Copic Markers
  • Flower Jewels – Heidi Swapp
  • CuttleBug Embossing Folder – Swiss Dots
  • Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearl – Applied to dress
  • Vellum – Veil (handcut)

I hope you liked this card and find it inspiring! Be sure to head on over to CCC and enter your card! You never know you just might be randomly picked to win the monthly prize!

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a good week. Today is the start of another Cricut Cardz Challenge! This weeks challenge is to make a Christmas card using the card feature of any cartridge and using any colors you’d like. Super easy and a great way to add another card to your holiday stash. I hope you’ll join us for Challenge #50!

Happy Holiday's

To make my card I used the card feature on the Smiley Card cartridge. It was the perfect shape to make my wreath. The wreath is made using my Martha Stewart oak leaf punch and some red gems. The leaves are lightly dusted with Perfect Pearls in Perfect Gold. Then a red bow was added for that perfect festive touch. I inked the edges of the card front with gold pigment ink. I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts, Owl Christmas) on dark green paper with Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered that to the inside of the card making sure my sentiment lined up in the center of the wreath. To finish off the card I added three red gems under the sentiment.

I hope you like my card and that it gives you inspiration to join us for this weeks challenge. Thank you for checking out my card and leaving me such nice comments. I appreciate it so much.

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! Today’s card is my Design Team card for Cricut Cardz Challenge #46. This weeks challenge is “Anything Goes”. So you can use any cartridges, colors and theme you’d like! Couldn’t be easier to play along. And I hope you do!! I have enjoyed seeing all your beautiful and creative cards. Also I would like to say thank you so much for all your kind and sweet comments. I really do appreciate each one and they totally make me smile!

So with that said, here’s my card. I used the Create A Critter cartridge, sentiment and starfish is from Stampin’ Up, Crab and Company (retired set). After I took pictures I decided to add some white stitching around the sandcastle door. To see a video of me explaining how I made this card in detail click here to be taken to my youtube video.

That little crab is killing me with his cuteness! I hope you love it as much as I do. Be sure to stop by Cricut Cardz Challenge and play along this week. You may be the lucky winner and be entered into the grand prize drawing for October!!! Have a wonderful day. Hugs!

I also entered this card into My Pink Stamper‘s “Make Something Cute” challenge!

Snappy Birthday to all the October babies!

A little glitter on the starfish makes him super happy!

I <3 this crab! There's no way you can look at him and not smile. Just look at those glittery little cheeks! 🙂

I made the gems with crystal effects and copic markers! They are so pretty and easy to make. The shell is cut from iridescent vellum paper.

Tonight’s card is another Christmas card. I joined in the challenges over at CardzTv and Drunken Stampers. CardTv asked us make a card with a Christmas tree on it and Drunken Stampers asked for a Christmas card. This is what I came up with.

The swirl stamp is from Autumn Leaves, the tree is a Cuttlebug die and the gems are from Joann’s. I dusted gold perfect pearls over the tree and the edge of the card front. Then I finished the card by tying a bow on the tree trunk.

Thank you for taking the time to come to my blog! Have a wonderful evening! And don’t forget to check out the challenges above!

Love bling on a Christmas Tree!

Today’s card was made for a Challenge over at Cardz Tv. Mary has a really fun Christmas In July challenge going on right now. Be sure to check it out!

The Challenge was to use ribbon, lace and a button. You could use one or all three. I chose to use lace and ribbon. The card base is Bazzill Kraft cardstock, the sentiment is from Inkadinkado, the lace is from my dear friend Susan and the flower was handmade by me. I added gold paint, gold perfect pearl mist and a red gem for some holiday pizazz. I finished off the card by rounding the bottom corners.

Thank you for coming by! Happy Christmas in July! 🙂

Christmas In July!

To make the flower I used my scallop circle punch.
