Here is the card I made for my Mom for Mother’s Day. I really loved making this card. It was my first time making an easel card and using pearls. This card has been entered into  Creatalicious Challenges #9. The challenge is to create something with flowers and wings.

Thank you for checking out my card! If you would like to know the details of how I made this card, please click here to be taken to my youtube channel.

This is a vintage tag and gift box I made for my friend. Both of these items turned out really pretty and she loved them. For the gift box, it was one the store had given me and I covered it with paper and added embellishments. I made this card back in January for my boyfriend’s sister. She turned 17 and I wanted to make her a special card. I think this card was perfect for her as it’s both youthful and sweet. The stamped image is from the Be Yourself stamp set, from Close To My Heart. I stamped her using Colorbox chalk ink in Black Bird. The jewel in her hair is from Heidi Swapp. I really love the Be Yourself stamp set. It can work for so many different occasions. I embossed the pink cardstock with my swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder. I inked the edges of the white cardstock with pink pigment ink and tied pink ribbon around it. Then I used pop-dots to adhere it to the pink cardstock. The inside sentiment is from Anna Griffin. This is an simple, pretty and quick card to make.
