Good Morning Crafty Friends! Are you ready for Cricut Cardz Challenge #108? The theme is “May Day”, make a card for any occasion using flowers from any cartridge(s) and using any colors you’d like.

For my 4 x 5.5 inch card I used the Give A Hoot cartridge. After cutting the tulips out three times, I used Copic markers to color the tulips and the rhinestones. I used my Nestabilities to cut a circle from the center then popped each of the tulips up on pop dots. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, Everyday Greetings.

Happy May Day!

I love to color clear rhinestones with Copics, Bic Mark It's or Sharpies. It's an easy way to get the perfect coordinating color.

Before I go, I wanted to give you an update on Bunny. After being very ill for two weeks she is is finally feeling better. She just finished two of her three medications and has been getting stronger each day. She’s still a bit slow but it’s so nice to see her getting back to her old self. Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate. 🙂

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. I’ll leave you with a cute picture of Bunny napping with her new toy from her Grandma (my Mom).

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a good week. Today is the start of another Cricut Cardz Challenge! This weeks challenge is to make a Christmas card using the card feature of any cartridge and using any colors you’d like. Super easy and a great way to add another card to your holiday stash. I hope you’ll join us for Challenge #50!

Happy Holiday's

To make my card I used the card feature on the Smiley Card cartridge. It was the perfect shape to make my wreath. The wreath is made using my Martha Stewart oak leaf punch and some red gems. The leaves are lightly dusted with Perfect Pearls in Perfect Gold. Then a red bow was added for that perfect festive touch. I inked the edges of the card front with gold pigment ink. I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts, Owl Christmas) on dark green paper with Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered that to the inside of the card making sure my sentiment lined up in the center of the wreath. To finish off the card I added three red gems under the sentiment.

I hope you like my card and that it gives you inspiration to join us for this weeks challenge. Thank you for checking out my card and leaving me such nice comments. I appreciate it so much.

I made this card for the Paper Cutz Challenge #39. This is my first time participating and I had a lot of fun with it. This weeks challenge was to make a project for a graduation. I decided to make a 4×4 card for a graduate. The card base is made with Bazzill Kraft cardstock.  For the elements, I used my Everday Paper Dolls cartridge and a sentiment stamp from Hero Arts. I added gold cord to the tassel and red ribbon to the diploma. Then I adhered the cap and diploma to the card base using pop-dots.

I highly recommend participating over there. Be sure to click the link above to check out Paper Cutz Challenge. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my cards!

You Did It!

I added pop-dots for added dimension.

Congrats!

For this challenge we were to make a project using our scraps. I decided to make a cute little card with my new Inkadinkado stamps and some scraps of patterned paper.

My inspiration for this card came from a cute little card made by Kelly Marie Alvarez a.k.a Lawn Fawn. I saw pleated patterned paper on her card this afternoon and thought it was so cute. I knew I had to try it today! If you would like to see Kelly’s card please click here to be taken to her blog. Thanks for the inspiration Kelly and thank you all for stopping by.

A cute little hello!
