Hello Crafty Friends! I hope you are all having a great week. My week is going good and I’m looking forward to the weekend! St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and if you haven’t made a card, now is the perfect time. Crafty Cardz Challenge has a fun themed challenge just for you.

Challenge#127: “ERIN GO BRAUGH”
Make a card for St. Patrick’s Day using GREEN, BLACK and WHITE ONLY!

My 4×4 St. Paddy Day card is below. I used the leprechaun hat from Paper Doll Dress Up and the clover from Give A Hoot. I stamped the background with a Studio g stamp, embossed the hat, glittered the black trim, inked/chalked around each element and even though it doesn’t show the hat was dusted in green Pearl X powder and the clover is painted with green pearlized paint.

This is one time I wish I had an Action Wobble. Oh well, pop dots did the job!

I think the argyle embossing really adds a nice touch to the hat.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I can’t wait to see what you create for this challenge. Happy St. Patrick’s Day and be sure to enter this fun challenge at CardzTv!

Happy Summer Crafty Friends! I hope everyone is having a great summer! It’s been beautiful here in Oregon. I’ve been enjoying my Summer and soaking up some of that sunshine! What are your Summer plans? One thing I know I’m doing is seeing the new Harry Potter! Anyone else?

Today I’d like to share with you my Design Team card for Cricut Cardz Challenge #82. The challenge this week is to make a card with Summer Apparel or An Accessory. You can use any cartridges and colors that you’d like. Super easy! I kept my card really simple and used minimal supplies. I also played with my new Nestabilities dies. (Whoa that rhymed! Lol!) I tried embellishing the bikini with rhinestones and then with pearls. But neither of them looked good. So I decided to keep it simple and let the layered scallops and patterned paper do the talking!

I hope you like it and come on over to CCC and join us this week! We can’t wait to see your new Summer cards!

I love all the bright colors and the Yellow Polka Dot Bikini let's everyone know, Summer is here!

The yellow scallop circle and the bikini are popped up on Foam Adhesive & Zots 3D Glue Dots.

Card Recipe:

  • Cartridge – Paper Doll Dress Up
  • Patterned Paper – DCWV Celebration Stack (orange) & Target Dollar Bin (polka dot)
  • Nestabilities Dies – Large Circle and Large Scallop Circle Set
  • Ink – Stampin Up, YoYo Yellow & Orange ColorBox Pigment Ink
  • Scotch Foam Adhesive & Zots 3D Glue Dots

Hi Crafty Friends! I hope you have all been well. I know a lot of you have been hit with snow storms. But not here in Oregon. I am wishing for snow before winter is over though. If your amongst those experiencing snowy Winter weather, I hope you stay warm and cozy. And to everyone else, I hope you have a fabulous Winter day!

Today I bring you a card that my Niece requested. She is almost 13 years old and was recently cast as Dorothy in local production of The Wizard Of Oz. She asked me to make a Thank You card for her to give to the Director for choosing her for the part. I was happy to do this and had a ton of fun making this card. I really love how it turned out and I hope you do too!

To make this card I used my Paper Doll Dress Up and Just Because cartridges.

I think Dorothy is so cute! Peachy Keen stamps really bring her to life!

Here's the inside of the card complete with a little Toto diecut.

I am entering this card into the LFIF Challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps. This weeks challenge is to make a Thank You card using Peachy Keen face stamps. I used a face stamp from Everyday Character Faces. This is also my first time entering a Peachy Keen Challenge. 🙂

If you would like the details of this card please watch my video located on my YouTube channel. Thank you so much for coming by today and checking out my card. Have a great weekend!

Hello! Today I’m sharing with you my DT card for Cricut Cardz Challenge #44. This weeks challenge is to make a Z-Fold card for Halloween. You can use any carts and colors you’d like! This was a fun card to make. I did keep it simple but I think it turned out pretty darn cute.

I used iridescent vellum paper to cut the ghost. I cut him at 4 inches using my Paper Doll Dress Up cart. To cut the word BOO, I used SCAL. I used my Creative Memories wavy cutter to cut the top of the card. The edges are stamped with a spider web stamp from Inkadinkado and embossed with iridescent ice from Stampin Up. The pattern paper is from Recollections and Target. Both of these papers are from last years Halloween collections. The ghost and pumpkin on the patterned paper are popped up using pop-dots. The orange cardstock on the inside of the card has been distressed using Tim Holtz’s paper distresser and inked with pigment inks. Stamping on the inside of the card is also from Inkadinkado. To complete the card I added white stitching around the ghost and the lettering.

To see a video describing it in detail click here to be taken to my youtube page.

I hope you can join in on the fun at CCC! We can’t wait to see your cards! Have a wonderful week and thanks again for stopping by.

I also entered this card into challenges at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays and Fantabulous Cricut. Both challenges required us to use real or faux stitching. Check out all of these challenge sites they are each a lot of fun!

View of the card when it's closed.

Card opens to reveal some spooky fun and a place for your personal message.

The little ghost and pumpkin are pop-dotted for some extra dimension.

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a fabulous time hopping! I would like to say welcome and thank you for participating in the Fall Blog Hop! We are excited to have you play along today. If you landed here from Chris’s blog then you are in the right spot. If you just came across my blog and want to play along or if you lose your place, below is a list of all the blogs in the hop.

My project is a Vellum Tea Light Topper. This is my original idea and I’m super excited to share this with you. I think this project is great for adults and kids. We are using a battery operated flameless candle. So this would be safe for kids to display in their rooms. I also think this would look beautiful on a fireplace mantel, end table, night stand, your desk at work or even as part of your table setting for the holidays. It’s really versatile and can be changed up for any holiday or season.
