If you would like to know how I made this card, please click here to be taken to my youtube video. The inside stamping is not pictured but it’s from Hampton Art and can be viewed in my youtube video.

This card was entered into CAS-tastic Challenge #14 (Bling It Up!”) and Simple Doodles #23 (Get out of the Box).

Thank you all so much for checking out my card and for all the sweet comments. Hugs!

Tonight’s card is another Christmas card. I joined in the challenges over at CardzTv and Drunken Stampers. CardTv asked us make a card with a Christmas tree on it and Drunken Stampers asked for a Christmas card. This is what I came up with.

The swirl stamp is from Autumn Leaves, the tree is a Cuttlebug die and the gems are from Joann’s. I dusted gold perfect pearls over the tree and the edge of the card front. Then I finished the card by tying a bow on the tree trunk.

Thank you for taking the time to come to my blog! Have a wonderful evening! And don’t forget to check out the challenges above!

Today’s card was made for Cricut Cardz Challenge #23. We had to make a card with red as the main color. I decided to make a 4×4 card featuring an apple from my new Cricut cart, Give A Hoot! The sentiment stamp is from Studio g, polka dot ribbon is from the Target Dollar Spot, green polka dot paper is from Me & My Big Ideas and the red gingham paper is from Joann’s Peppermint Forest paper stack.

Thanks for checking out my card! Your comments are really appreciated and loved. Have a wonderful day!

A perfect card for someone special!

I made this card back in January for my boyfriend’s sister. She turned 17 and I wanted to make her a special card. I think this card was perfect for her as it’s both youthful and sweet. The stamped image is from the Be Yourself stamp set, from Close To My Heart. I stamped her using Colorbox chalk ink in Black Bird. The jewel in her hair is from Heidi Swapp. I really love the Be Yourself stamp set. It can work for so many different occasions. I embossed the pink cardstock with my swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder. I inked the edges of the white cardstock with pink pigment ink and tied pink ribbon around it. Then I used pop-dots to adhere it to the pink cardstock. The inside sentiment is from Anna Griffin. This is an simple, pretty and quick card to make.
