I made this adorable little card for my Niece. She is expecting a baby in about 5 weeks!! We are all very excited!!

To make this card I used my Cricut and the SCAL software. I entered this card into The Treehouse Thursday Challenge. The challenge this week is, Seeing Dots! It was a perfect chance to use my new Inkadinkado Polka-dots background stamp. I love how this card turned out!! If you would like to know what products I used please check out my youtube video by clicking here.

Thank you for checking out my card and leaving such sweet comments. I really appreciate it. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

I think this card is the sweetest!

Good evening. Tonight’s card has been entered into Drunken Stampers challenge #18 & CAS-tastic challenge #6. Drunken Stampers asked us to use time and vintage as our inspiration. CAS-tastic asked us to make a card with the sentiment as the main focus. Here is what I came up with.

I really enjoyed making this card. Using distress inks are a favorite technique of mine. I also got to use my pocket watch stamp that I’ve had for a while but never used. The love stamps is from the Tim Holtz, Urban Grunge set. I embellished the card with perfect pearls, pearl ex powder, homemade chipboard brackets and gold Inkadinkado cord. Before adding the cord I distressed the edges of the card front with my Tim Holtz paper distresser.

Thank you so much for checking out my card. If you would like to see a video on how I made this card please click here to be taken to my YouTube channel. Be sure to check out the challenge blogs! Have a lovely weekend!

Today’s card was entered into Paper Cutz Challenge#42 (Use buttons & ribbon, lace or hemp) & Drunken Stampers #17  (Distressed chipboard).

I really love how it turned out. I think this card would be great for the man in your life! The background is stamped with a wood grain stamp and embossed with clear embossing powder. The heart is a chipboard piece colored with a red Copic marker. It had a design that I didn’t like but after two coats of Copic marker it was gone! Then I wrapped hemp cord around it and secured it with a  button. After that I adhered the heart with 1/16 inch pop-dots. One the inside of the card I added a thinner button to accent the future message.

Thanks for taking a look at my card! Have a wonderful weekend!

Love U

I love the textures on the button mixed with the wood grain and hemp cord textures.

The inside of the card has a space for a message with a button accent.

Here are couple cute cards that I made for my friends. I used an Anya stamp from the Greeting Farm. She is colored with copic markers. I also used patterned paper from Creative memories and K & Company. I handmade each of the lollipop flowers with patterned paper, cardstock, tulle, cellophane, ink and perfect pearls mist. The friend sentiment is from Brenda Walton.

The red themed card was made for my wonderful friend Susan. She is such a sweetheart and I have loved getting to know her. She has been so supportive and sweet to me. She is a real gem and I am so happy to call her my friend. 🙂  You can find her blog at One of a Kind Cards and Crafts or find her on YouTube at SuzieCrafter10. Be sure to check her out, she has the most beautiful vintage tags and handmade flowers!

Today I stopped at one of my local Goodwill’s. They had a lot of rubber stamps to look through. This is definitely the Goodwill to go to for stamps. I ended up getting 4 stamps and a small butterfly tray. I had gotten a tray just like it last year at another Goodwill. So I am happy to have a pair of them. I like to use them in my craftroom to hold random small items.

I love the teddy bear stamp, they are so cute dressed up for Halloween! The flower corner stamp is nice as well. I like to use those on envelopes. I paid $4.97 for all of it. Today the blue tickets were 50% off. So the Garfield stamp and the tray were .50 cents! I hadn’t cleaned anything yet so pay no attention to the smudges on the tray.
