Good Morning Crafty Friends! I hope everyone is having an excellent week. Today marks the start of Cricut Cardz Challenge #78. This weeks challenge is to make a Wedding Card. You can use any cartridges and colors that you’d like.

This is the first wedding card that I’ve made using my new Sweethearts cartridge. I really love the Bride and Groom and knew I had to use them! I thought the Gate Fold would be perfect for this card. Check out the pictures below and let me know what you think!

I love how the Bride and Groom are facing each other. The Gate Fold allows the card to open in the center to reveal the sentiment & handwritten note.

I think this is a really adorable Cricut cut. I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder to add some interest to her dress.

The sentiment and rings are from BasicGrey

Card Recipe:

  • Cartridge – Sweethearts
  • Heart Patterned Paper – Costco
  • Stamps – BasicGrey
  • Copic Markers
  • Flower Jewels – Heidi Swapp
  • CuttleBug Embossing Folder – Swiss Dots
  • Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearl – Applied to dress
  • Vellum – Veil (handcut)

I hope you liked this card and find it inspiring! Be sure to head on over to CCC and enter your card! You never know you just might be randomly picked to win the monthly prize!

Good evening, I made another card to share. This card was entered into Cricut Cardz Challenge #25. The challenge was to create a card with a bird or butterfly on it. I used my new Create A Critter Cartridge to cut out the sweet little bird. I used a gem and the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder to dress her up. I think this little Thank You card turned out adorable. Thank you so much for stopping by and thanks for a fun Challenge Mary! Be sure to check out Cricut Cardz Challenge!

I made this card back in January for my boyfriend’s sister. She turned 17 and I wanted to make her a special card. I think this card was perfect for her as it’s both youthful and sweet. The stamped image is from the Be Yourself stamp set, from Close To My Heart. I stamped her using Colorbox chalk ink in Black Bird. The jewel in her hair is from Heidi Swapp. I really love the Be Yourself stamp set. It can work for so many different occasions. I embossed the pink cardstock with my swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder. I inked the edges of the white cardstock with pink pigment ink and tied pink ribbon around it. Then I used pop-dots to adhere it to the pink cardstock. The inside sentiment is from Anna Griffin. This is an simple, pretty and quick card to make.
